Today I'm happy to announce that the mobile one, <strong>Mobile Pinch Zoom<\/strong>, has been updated to <strong>v0.6.0<\/strong> \u2014 a release focused on making the pinch gesture feel truly native.<\/p>\n<h4>\u25a0 What's new in Mobile Pinch Zoom v0.6.0<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anchored zoom<\/strong> \u2014 the spot you're zooming into no longer drifts away from under your fingers. Pinching anchors to the midpoint between your fingers; zoom commands anchor to the viewport center, with scroll compensated automatically<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trackpad support<\/strong> \u2014 pinch on a trackpad (e.g. iPad Magic Keyboard) now zooms too<\/li>\n<li><strong>Snap to 100%<\/strong> \u2014 end a gesture within \u00b15% of 100% and it glides back to exactly 100%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Auto-fading indicator<\/strong> \u2014 the \ud83d\udd0d badge now fades out shortly after zooming (configurable: auto \/ always \/ hidden)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Plays nice with Canvas &amp; Excalidraw<\/strong> \u2014 views that have their own pinch zoom are left alone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Existing users can simply update via <strong>Settings \u2192 Community plugins \u2192 Check for updates<\/strong>. It zooms the whole Obsidian window with Ctrl + mouse wheel, just like a browser, and this release is all about making the zoom feel right and coexisting cleanly with other views.<\/p>\n<h4>\u25a0 What's new in Ctrl+Scroll Zoom v1.2.0<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Multiplicative zoom steps<\/strong> \u2014 each wheel notch scales by a fixed ratio (default \u00d71.1), so zooming feels the same at 50% and at 300%. This also eliminates the floating-point drift that additive steps could accumulate<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smooth trackpad pinch<\/strong> \u2014 pinch gestures now zoom proportionally to the gesture instead of jumping a full step per event<\/li>\n<li><strong>Plays nice with Canvas, Excalidraw &amp; the PDF viewer<\/strong> \u2014 Ctrl+scroll over these keeps their own built-in zoom (can be turned off in settings)<\/li>\n<li><strong>PDF-aware indicator<\/strong> \u2014 while a PDF is active, the status bar shows the PDF's own zoom (e.g. \ud83d\udd0d PDF 80%), and clicking it resets the PDF to 100% too<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pop-out window support<\/strong> \u2014 Ctrl+scroll now works in notes opened in separate windows<\/li>\n<li><strong>Configurable modifier key<\/strong> \u2014 choose Ctrl, Cmd\/Win, or Alt\/Option; settings now use sliders<\/li>\n<li>The indicator now stays in sync with Obsidian's built-in <strong>Ctrl+= \/ Ctrl+-<\/strong> zoom commands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Same deal here: update via <strong>Settings \u2192 Community plugins \u2192 Check for updates<\/strong>, or search for \"Ctrl+Scroll Zoom\" if you haven't tried it yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/hata-suriiken\/obsidian-ctrl-scroll-zoom\">https:\/\/github.com\/hata-suriiken\/obsidian-ctrl-scroll-zoom<\/a><br \/>\n\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/hata-suriiken\/obsidian-ctrl-scroll-zoom\/releases\/tag\/1.2.0\">Release notes (v1.2.0)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I'll keep improving both plugins \u2014 feedback and feature requests are always welcome on GitHub Issues.
